Success Through Education
Create Honduras
Co-Founder
Create Honduras is a non-profit organization that aims to empower and educate children in La Ceiba, Honduras, to achieve a brighter future through access to education. Our after-school program, called "Llaves del Reino" (Keys to the Kingdom), provides students with the necessary skills and tools to excel in their studies and develop a belief in their own potential.
To sustainably support our mission, Create Honduras has established two social business ventures in La Ceiba - Don Jorge Coffee and Xotal Chocolates. By strategically exporting these products to major retailers in the United States, we are able to operate the after-school program through a 20% profit share.
Since opening its doors in August 2014, "Llaves del Reino" has positively impacted the lives of over 150 children. As of 2020, our after-school program continues to provide opportunities for children to learn, grow, and realize their full potential.
